Just after I had finished breakfast, I received a call from Walrus Books requesting me to go for an interview.
I spent the day in my pajamas, practicing writing and writing my first novel.
All that romance writing makes me feel so flirty.
It was interview day the next day and it turned out well with double good news. Not only have I been accepted for the job, Walrus Books promised to sell my first novel to a publisher.
To celebrate the joyful occasion, I called for a gathering with the bookclub at our club hangout place.
"Gunther, I have something to tell you which you will be happy about."
"What is it?"
"I've gotten the job at Walrus Books, we are now colleagues."
"That's awesome!"
"I've another piece of good news. My first novel is going to be out in the world."
"Wow, congratulations!"
"Thank you, I'm so happy that I've made progress to become the bestselling author."
My new job requires me to read books and since it's something we do during club gatherings, I completed my reading during the gathering.
A couple days later, I finally started work and I got promoted on my first day of work. I submitted my second novel that day and it's being reviewed. Whether it will be published or not depends on the outcome of my first novel.
