The Sims 4 - I'm A Lover Challenge: Second Child (Chapter 1.18)
Our second child is a boy and we named him Sawyer. Like our first child, Sophie, we organized a baby shower for Sawyer after he was born. Sophie's baby shower was held indoors and this time, we wanted something different. We decided to have Sawyer's baby shower outdoors.
Since we had no backyard although we had empty areas of grass surrounding our house, we needed to set up a backyard. The ever lovingly sweet Gunther did the furnishing of our new backyard while I settled down from giving birth.
Once the backyard was done, it was time for the baby shower. On the afternoon that we planned to have the baby shower, all of us hung out at the backyard with Sophie chilling out on the couch and Sawyer sleeping in the crib while I grilled food and Gunther prepared drinks.
As I was grilling the baked potatos and hamburgers, the guests started strolling into our backyard. They went for the drinks the moment they arrived. I grabbed a cup of the drink and joined them in their conversations once I finished preparing the food. The guests we invited were our bookclub members and Gunther's brothers.
After awhile of chatting and catching up with one another since we only meet once in awhile, all of us ate the food while we continue to chat.
We ate, drank and chatted till sunset. After all the chatting, eating and drinking, it was time to feature our star of the party, Sawyer. Gunther showed off Sawyer to his brothers first.
Then I showed him off to our bookclub members.
It was getting late and everyone had to leave but Yuki and Wolfgang wanted to have a look at the cute little Sawyer before leaving.
After this baby shower, there are several parties coming up. Most are joyous occasions but there's one that's meant to be joyous but I didn't feel the joy.
