The Sims 4 - I'm A Lover Challenge: The Competition (Chapter 1.7)

It's the third week of life in Windenburg. Being informed that I have got into the second round of the Romance Story Writing Competition is the best way to start my week. As a finalist, I was told to write a short story which has to be submitted by the end of the next day.

When I got home from work, I immediately went onto my computer, opened a new word document and began typing.

I continued writing my short story at work the next day and submitted it on time at the end of the day.

Just when I felt the need to go somewhere to relax after a night and day of hardwork writing the short story, Gunther asked me out for dinner. Of course we went to our favorite dining place, Hogan's Burger Bar.

As soon as we sat down at the same table we always get, I blew him a kiss which as mentioned before is my favorite thing to do.

As usual, we ordered the same food and drink. While waiting for our order, we chatted and laughed so much until we were so thirsty that we finished the orange juice as soon as our order was served.

Another of my favorite romantic interaction is reciting love poetry and I recited one after we finished eating our hamburger.

Since I've been writing so much and not been reading, I decided to spend my off day reading.

It's the end of the week and a couple days after the second round of the competition. When I stepped into office, I was told to meet my superior in her office. She hands me a letter which I opened immediately to know that I have won the competition. She then went on to inform me that my book that was submitted for the competition, Tugging Heart Strings Like a Puppeteer, will be published in a few days. I was also told to write more short stories for a complete book of romance short stories.

I spent the rest of the day at office drafting out short stories and was so engrossed until I did not hear my superior calling me to meet her in her office towards the end of the day. Since I have met her in the morning, I was curious about this meeting. To my surprise, she wanted to meet me to talk about my promotion. She told me that my performance is excellent and I deserved to be promoted.

There's so many good news in one day that made me danced my way home. However, the promotion and recognition I'm getting makes me more determined to work harder and write more books, so I went straight into writing my short stories as soon as I reached home.

It been an amazing week with work but something even more amazing is happening soon.
