The Sims 4 - Starving Artist To Superstar Challenge: Running Away (Chapter 1)

I came across the starving artist to superstar challenge in my early days of playing the sims 4 a few years ago and throughout these few years have thought of doing it. Finally now, with more time on hand from having to stay home, I am doing it.

These are the rules of the challenge (link) but I won't be following all of them as some feels overwhelming and also considering how much the game has evolved now, since these rules were from a few years back.

I’ll be writing the story in a first person narrative, from my sim’s point of view.

Sul sul, my name is Stacie Dudley. I’m at a plot of land where my dream house will be built once I become a superstar. Now I’m a starving artist who has ran away from home. My parents do not accept my choice of career and they want me to follow their path. Since my brother is already following their path, why should I be forced to follow too.

With the little simoleons I have left, I am going to head to the city of San Myshuno and not go against my wishes in embarking on a music career.

Upon arriving in San Myshuno, I went to the art gallery and finally got to strum a guitar again after so long.

I am very in need of money but I can’t sign on with any company yet until I complete the prerequisite. So my only way to earn money is busking and wasting no time, I went to the lounge to busk using their guitar, since I do not own a guitar. I spent the evening busking before finding somewhere to sleep and end my first day in San Myshuno.

As a runaway with no house and no money, after spending my last bit of simoleons to come to San Myshuno, I have to spend nights sleeping outdoor on benches.

The next morning, I went back to the art gallery to not only continue practicing the guitar.

I got my hands on the piano too. Since I'm not as good with the piano and I'm still off key, I need lots of practice.

I was very hungry but with no money, I had to wait for the bar to open in the late morning to get free chips. Well, I actually do have some money from last evening's busking but I want to save up for a guitar.

After some more guitar and piano practicing, I was feeling tired and went to take an afternoon nap outside the lounge.

Then I did another evening busk. There was an entertainer performing this time but that doesn't hinders me from trying to earn money.

After more than a day of not showering, I was getting filthy. The park building has a bathtub so I went there to get myself cleaned before ending my day sleeping at the bench.

I didn't think much when I made the decision to run away from home to chase my musical aspiration. Although I'm materialistic, I still seem to be coping well wandering around the city as a starving artist. I think my music lover trait is stubborn and does not want to be against. I definitely want to sign on with a company as soon as I complete the prerequisite but with the creative trait, I do want to write and license my own songs as well.
