The Sims 4 - Drifter Challenge: Parker Finally Does Homework (House 001)
Kathleen doesn't need to dig rocks for money anymore and she's not been doing that but she was digging for crystals.
The reason for getting crystals was to send them to the geo council for elements to get the focusing aura to make Parker do his homework. Parker had been a child for quite awhile but he never ever does his homework. When he gets home from school, he will usually nap.
Since he's a rambunctious scamp, he usually plays on the monkey bars. Well, I did put that specially for him to play.
Their sleeping times are very messed up. Since I can't control Paolo and Parker, it's difficult to have them all sleep at the same time every night. However for the first time, all three of all slept at the same time.
The elements will only come in the mail the next day after sending the crystals to the geo council. Once Kathleen got the elements from the mail, I displayed them on the entry table and enabled the aura.
With the focusing aura, Parker finally did his homework for the very first time. From then on, he does his homework everyday.
Occasionally, Kathleen will help Parker with his homework.
I was getting annoyed that Parker doesn't do his homework and I didn't know how to make him do his homework autonomously. I chanced upon a tweet by the creater of the Drifter Challenge, Vihisha, and learnt that the focusing aura will make sims do their homework. There are many ways to get the focusing aura. The way Vihisha tweeted may caused a fire and I didn't want to add anymore fire hazards to the house, so I researched and found out that elements has the focusing aura.
Through this Drifter Challenge, I've actually learnt alot about what can be done in the game that I never knew even though I've been playing Sims 4 for more than a year. Now that I've finally gotten Parker to do his homework, the next happening for the family is Kathleen's birthday. Look out for my next post for Kathleen's birthday celebration.
